Alaska welcomes us today and the excitement builds as we are about to embark on a wonderful tour of this magnificent state.

PALMER/MATANUSKA VALLEY/BRIDAL VEIL FALLS/VALDEZ
After a morning orientation, we depart for Palmer in the Matanuska Valley, where cabbages can grow in an amazing 70 pounds in the 24 hour daylight. Venture up over Tahneta Pass for wonderful vistas of Matanuska and Worthington Glaciers. Stop at Bridal Veil Falls before arriving in the seaside port of Valdez for two nights.

Day 3
PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND CRUISE
This morning, meet a local Alaskan Fishing expert to learn more about the industry, the equipment used and their daily lives. Then board your boat for a cruise on Prince William Sound where we watch for seals, sea otters, birds and even whales. Before returning to Valdez, see the Trans-Alaska Pipeline Terminal, where supertankers are loaded with crude oil from Prudhoe Bay.

DELTA JUNCTION ROADHOUSE/FAIRBANKS
Take in more beautiful scenery today as we travel by coach to Fairbanks. Enjoy a stop at Delta Junction Roadhouse along the way.

GOLD DREDGE #8/STERNWHEELER DISCOVERY CRUISE/CHENA INDIAN VILLAGE
Visit Gold Dredge #8 and ride the narrow gauge railroad. Then, try your luck as you pan for gold. Later, board the Sternwheeler Discovery for a cruise on the Chena River with a stop at the Chena Village to learn about Athabascan Native culture. You will also have the chance to meet Iditarod mushers and their famed dog teams.

ALASKA RAILROAD/DENALI NATIONAL PARK
Board the world-famous Alaska Railroad for a journey through untamed wilderness. Today's ride ends at Denali National Park, where North America's highest peak majestically dominates the parks 6 million acres. Enjoy dinner, followed by an exclusive presentation on Denal National Park by a local Naturalist.

DENALI NATIONAL PARK/WILDERNESS EXPEDITION
Morning at leisure. Choose from optional excursions or just relax. Then, prepare for an adventure with a Tundra Wilderness Tour into Denali Natural Park with at Naturalist Driver Guide. Look for bear, caribou, moose and other wildlife as we journey into the park.
Day 8
HAPPY TRAILS KENNELS/ALASKA BUSH PILOT PRESENTATION
Travel south today toward Anchorage, stopping at Happy Trail Kennels, home of four-time Iditarod Champion Marsh Buser and his dogs. Continue to Anchorage for a visit to the Alaska Native American Heritage Center. This evening, enjoy a group dinner where you enjoy a special presentation by an Alaskan Bush Pilot.

KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK (B, L)
Witness one of the world's most scenic drives as you follow the south shore of lovely Turnagan Arm. Upon arrival in Seward, board your vessel for a cruise on the glacial waters of Kenia Fjords National Park. From the massive Harding Icefield to the countless tidewater glaciers carving deep fjords, this artic paradise is a natural wonder to behold. Watch for glaciers calving, sea orcas, humpback whales, sea otters and more!

It's time to pack up for home after a wonderful time of exploring Spectacular Alaska!

Activity Level 3: This tour includes average physical activity. There may be long and short days. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances (several blocks). Travelers should have the energy level to withstand the timing of the itinerary.
TOUR INCLUSIONS:
Motorcoach transportation, airfare, cruises, and rail transportation as stated in the itinerary, hotel accommodations, all admissions and meals per itinerary, all taxes for included items, gratuities for step-on guides and wait staff (for included meals), luggage handling at hotels when available, and services of a professional tour director (see cruises and International tours for tour director minimums).

DOMESTIC AIR TOURS:
A government-issued photo I.D. (i.e., drivers license or passport) is required for all tours utilizing air transportation within the United States and selected motorcoach tours. Allied requests a copy of your license to confirm hassle-free flight travel.
FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment is due 45-90 days prior to departure, or as stated on your deposit statement.

Cancellation protection is not insurance but a simple plan to protect you from losing funds if you must cancel for a covered reason. If you cancel for a covered reason, prior to departure, you will be reimbursed for the amount you paid for your trip. This covers cancellation only. No coverages apply after the tour starts.

FINAL DOCUMENTS
Travelers now have the option to request digital documents, which will be sent via email 7-10 days earlier than physical the copies. If you opt for digital delivery when booking, youll receive a detailed itinerary, departure times and locations, hotel lists, medical forms, and other important information sooner, ensuring you're well-prepared for your trip. Luggage tags will be distributed by the Tour Director.
Physical documents will be sent approximately two weeks before departure, provided full payment has been received.

CHANGES IN TOUR PRICE
Tour prices in this publication are effective as of August 1, 2024, and are subject to fluctuation due to the U.S. dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency, fuel price fluctuations, taxes, typographical errors, or other reasons, etc. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tours utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing. Submitting your deposit is an acknowledgment of your agreement to these terms.
CHANGES IN ITINERARY
The order of events and hotels scheduled on your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motorcoach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30 x 21 x 11 and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in. *Baggage handling included at hotels when available
INSPIRATION & FAITH
Due to tour schedules, we are unable to make any special provisions for worship services. Many tour directors share a Thought for the Day, verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. Single Travelers Single travelers are guaranteed one seat on the motorcoach and may be seated next to another traveler if the tour is full.
Traveler Conduct & Special Needs Tours are fun, but the enjoyment of the tour is based on everyone being friendly and cooperative. Allied reserves the right to accept or decline any passenger on any tour if Allied Tour determines a passenger would be detrimental to the tour. Once a tour departs, any passenger disruptive to the group may be required to leave the tour. Expenses to return home would be the responsibility of the passenger. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the tour. Passengers will be required to abide by local mandates to participate in activities, meals, etc.
Please notify us of any special needs at the time of reservation. We will make all reasonable efforts to assist with your travel arrangements. However, it is strongly recommended that a traveling companion come along to help with any special needs of anyone with a disability. Allied Tour Directors have responsibilities for the entire group and cant provide one-on-one care. This includes boarding of motor coaches, airplanes, cruise ships, etc. and traversing hotels, restaurants, attractions, or other personal needs, etc. Contact Allied if you have any questions.

Allied Tours, Inc. (AT) acts only as an agent for suppliers. AT is not responsible for acts or omissions of the suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their schedules & assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity, & can accept no liability for losses or personal injury or property damage, or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the bus or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, terrorism, or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger. The right is reserved to accept or withdraw any tour if circumstances require it. AT reserves the right to make any changes for the benefit of the tour and/or tour members, including canceling the tour if necessary. All rates are subject to change & are based on current tariffs available & current exchange rates as of October 1, 2024. AT or property owners are not liable for any loss/damage to vehicles parked at departure locations. All baggage is at the owners risk. The purchase of baggage & travel insurance covering cancellation, interruption, medical, baggage, etc., is recommended. The issuance and acceptance of tickets/vouchers or the payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment for reservations on these trips shall be deemed to be consent to these conditions. No refund or unused portions of the tour can be made unless agreed to prior to the departure of the tour. The usual contract in use by the airlines and other transportation companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the purchaser of the tour and/or the passenger. You assume full responsibility for checking & verifying any & all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s) & all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). Passengers hereby release AT from all claims arising out of any problem covered in these paragraphs & agree that the courts In Madison Co., NE will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or AT. Travelers may be photographed for the promotional purposes of AT.
