Sandhill Cranes Daytime Driving Tour/Multimedia Crane Program/Sunset Crane Viewing

You don't have to be a "bird brain" to enjoy this trip. Today is the day to get to know the Sandhill Cranes by starting out with a multimedia crane program at the Stuhr Museum. After lunch, a crane naturalist will take you on a driving tour to see the cranes feast in the fields and see their unmistakable "dance". Cranes mate for life. Check-in to your hotel for a little "R&R" before heading off to an early dinner before a magical evening to view the cranes. You'll get a "birds eye" (excuse the pun) view of the cranes as they descend from the sky in masses and land in the Platte River to roost for the night from the Crane Trust bridge that spans the Platte River. The sheer numbers are astounding and the bugling is almost deafening, It will be a sight to behold!
