Tour Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous home design, Fallingwater. Built over a waterfall, this home was way before its time in both design and decor. Enjoy spectacular views as you stand on a terrace looking down at the waterfall!

Flight 93 Memorial & Chapel/Q-Creek Mine

Today's an inspirational day! At Q-Creek Mine, learn about the miraculous account of the rescue of nine miners trapped beneath a farmer's field as told by the farmer himself! Then visit the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel for a touching tribute to the Heroes of Flight 93. Visit the Flight 93 Memorial site and walk on "hallowed ground" and final resting place of these brave men and women.

Gettysburg National Battlefield/President Eisenhower's Farm

A guided tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield and Visitor Center brings out the emotion of this horrific battle of the American Civil War. Visit the nearby farm of President Dwight Eisenhower and his Mamie. Tonight enjoy a typical Penn Dutch Amish style dinner.

Lancaster County Amish Tour & Dinner

Lancaster County is home to more than 30,000 Amish. Your visit begins with a driving tour of the countryside with a local guide. See serene country scenery as well as typical Amish life and customs. Next, tour an authentic Amish home and one-room school at Plain & Fancy Farm. See a multi-media presentation, Jacob's Choice, giving you an understanding of what it means to be Amish. Even take an Amish Buggy ride! A delicious dinner will be prepared and served by an Amish family at their home!

Longwood Gardens/QVC Studios

When visiting Longwood Gardens, you will be immersed in breathtaking surroundings, both indoors and outdoors. Pay a visit to the popular QVC Studio where you will learn about how QVC products are sourced, tested and brought to life on the air and then to your home. You may be able to watch a QVC program in progress.

Valley Forge National Park

Arrive at Valley Forge National Park for a guided tour of the George Washington's winter encampment during the American Revolutionary War. As you begin the trip westward today, a lunch/shopping stop is planned at Country Cupboard near Lewisburg.

Final Documents: Approximately two weeks prior to your departure date, you will receive your final documents. Departure times, a hotel list, detailed tour itinerary, medical form and luggage tags will be included. 


Changes in Tour Price: Tour prices in this publication are effective as of September 15, 2017 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing. 


Changes in Itinerary: The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.


Baggage Allowance: Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in. Church and Faith We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.


Special Needs: Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group.
