The Panama Canal is one of history's greatest engineering marvels. Enjoy a warm, winter vacation sailing in the Caribbean and spending a full day on a partial transit of the Panama Canal. We'll enter on the east side through Gatun Locks, continue into Gatun Lake, before turning around for a stop at Colon, Panama. While in Gatun Lake you will have the option of an excursion that continues through the canal to the Pacific Coast, thus seeing all of the Panama Canal! It is incredibe to see this wonder up close and to imagine the historic feat that was accomplished in 1914.
In addition to the Panama Canal, we visit four fun ports in the Caribbean. Princess Cruise Line's legendary service will be there to pamper us all along the way.

Day at Sea
Enjoy the activities, entertainment, shops, dining and more aboard the Island Princess! You will want to make sure you have your optional shore excursions booked for our upcoming ports of call. (Shore excursions at additional cost.)
Dock in Falmouth, Jamaica this morning. Excursions are available to Jamaica's famous Dunn's River Falls, the lush tropical Coyaba Gardens or the historical Jamaican Estates. For the more adventurous, enjoy the Sky Explorere Chairlift, River rafting on the Martha Brae River or enjoy the Dolphin Encounter.
Enjoy a day to relax or enjoy the activities on board such as dance lessons, culinary demonstratiions, the casino, wine tasting classes . . . or maybe you'd like a treatment at the spa.
The port area of Cartagena and its nearby fortifications are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This was the transit port for all the wealth that Spain derived from South America. There are many optional tours including tours of the beautiful "Old City," Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas fortress, the Cartagena Cathedral, and more.
Panama Canal Transit/Colon, Panama
Today enter the impressive Panama Canal. Enter the Canal through the Gatun Locks on the east side of the Canal. You'll have the option to get off in the middle of the canal for optional tours which include touring Panama City, take a tram through the rainforests of Panama, visit an authentic Indian village, enjoy a ride on the Panama Canal Train, or see the Pacific side of the Canal on a boat cruise & motor coach tour.
Limon, Costa Rica
This eastern Costa Rican port boast of pristine beaches, sprawling banana plantations, and dense rainforests. Adventure is everywhere. You can visit the rainforest by soaring through the air on a canopy zip line, taking a ride through the jungle in a canoe, or ride a tram through the treetops. You may want to visit a banana, coffee & sugar cane plantation. Or, how about a visit to a Sloth Sanctuary?

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
This Caribbean Island is rich in natural beauty. Tour the world-famous Cayman Turtle Farm,

with the Stingray. For a relaxing day, visit Seven Mile Beach or stroll the streets of George
Town for some shopping.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance, including cancellation & interruption and medical coverage, is available for an additional fee and is highly recommended. Ask for details and prices.
Cruise Ticket/Documents: Your final cruise documents will be sent to you approximately 7 14 days prior to your departure. These will include your airline schedule, cruise ticket, transfer vouchers, luggage tags, and more.
Changes in Itinerary The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate substitutions.
Price Changes/Fuel Surcharge: Tour prices are effective as of May 1, 2018. Allied will do everything possible to avoid price changes. However, if significant changes in fuel prices, taxes, currency exchange rates, etc. occur, these will be passed on to passengers, and listed on your final invoice. Every effort will be made to avoid any additional surcharges.
Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.
Special Needs Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.
Church & Faith We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many of our tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.
