Providence City Tour/Cranberry Bog Tour/Historic Boston Tour/Old North Church/Harvard University/Quincy Market

This morning your local expert guide will take you on a tour of Providence, a historic community with narrow European-style streets with a special stop at an Italian bakery. Next, head to cranberry bog country and see them harvest those little red berries that taste "oh so good!" Then, travel to Boston where your local expert guide will take you on a historic tour to include the Freedom Trail, Old North Church and more. This evening spend time on your own at Boston's famous Quincy Market with shops and restaurants galore.

Covered Bridge/New England Maple Museum/Gourmet Dinner and Cooking Demonstration

Your first stop is Quechee Gorge, otherwise known as "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon." Next, stop at a covered bridge along your route for a picture-perfect photo op of New England. This afternoon visit the New England Maple Museum and learn how the ageless process of making maple syrup is depicted through interesting exhibits. This evening, enjoy a gourmet dinner with a live cooking demonstration featuring a Vermont chef. Learn the cooking tips, recipes and of course you'll sample the results!

Rock of Ages/Trapp Family Lodge Lunch/Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory Tour/ Vermont Countryside Scenery

This morning visit Rock of Ages, a mammoth granite quarry that has inspired incredible artistry since 1924. Then, a special treat awaits when you have lunch at the Trapp Family Lodge, whose ancestors inspired the story of "The Sound of Music." Enjoy a hot and cold buffet with Austrian pastries. Then, travel through the beautiful Vermont countryside with gorgeous views of fall foliage and quaint villages. Visit Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory for an up close look at how they make America's favorite treat!

Hemmings Automobilia/Bennington Apple Barn/Norman Rockwell Museum/Travel the Berkshires - Norman Rockwell Country

This morning visit Hemmings Automobilia where everything is auto. One of New England's most popular fall stops is the Bennington Apple Barn. Visit the country market with wonderful aromas of goodies available to purchase including Vermont maple syrup, homemade jams and preserves, and more.

Berkshires Cottage Tour/Tanglewood Tour/Stockbridge Tour/Chesterwood Mansion/Fly Home

This morning your local expert guide will take you on a tour of the Berkshires Cottages where you'll see the exteriors of vacation homes of some of the business magnates from the "gilded age." The Berkshires is known as the "Inland Newport" with mansions of Andrew Carnegie, Harley Proctor, George Westinghouse and the Vanderbilt's. Finally, tour Stockbridge, the "picture postcard" New England town. See the famous Red Lion Inn, the First Church and discover why Norman Rockwell revered this area. Visit the Norman Rockwell Museum where you'll see many of his original oil paintings and studio. Then, it's time to head to the airport for your flight home recalling the "picture perfect" memories of your Norman Rockwell New England adventure.

Changes in Tour Price Tour prices in this publication are effective as of September 15, 2016 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.

 

Special Needs Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group.
