Mackinac Island Carriage Tour/ Grand Hotel Buffet Lunch/Grand Hotel Accommodations
Ferry to Mackinac Island this morning for a full DAY to explore and soak in its charm and beauty. Upon arrival take horse and carriage tour of the island. Then get ready for the buffet of buffets at the Grand Hotel. Check into the Grand Hotel with plenty of time to relax and enjoy this historic property. A four course dinner in the beautiful dining room is included (jacket and tie required for men, cocktail dress/pant suit suggested for women). Meet our local guide for a tour of Frankenmuth, a quaint Bavarian Village. Learn about the history and popular sites of this quaint German-inspired town. Say goodbye to "Little Bavaria" this afternoon and travel to the Detroit area.

Changes in Itinerary The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.
Price Changes/Fuel Surcharge: Tour prices are effective as of Sept. 15, 2017. Allied will do everything possible to avoid price changes. However, if significant changes in fuel prices, taxes, currency exchange rates, etc. occur, these will be passed on to passengers, and listed on your final invoice. Every effort will be made to avoid any additional surcharges.
Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility.
Special Needs Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.
Church and Faith We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.
