Aquarium of the Pacific/Board the Ruby Princess

Begin your day learning and exploring at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Home to more than 11,000 ocean animals, representing nearly 500 species, the Aquarium celebrates the planet's largest and most diverse body of water: the Pacific Ocean. In addition to three main galleries highlighting the major regions of the Pacific, the Aquarium features many exhibits including Shark Lagoon, the Lorikeep Forest aviary, Molina Animal Care Center, June Keyes Penguin Habitat, Horses & Dragons Exhibit, Jellies, and more! We are off to board the Ruby Princes this afternoon.

Day at Sea

As you get acquainted with your ship, you can also take in some fun activities, shop in the boutiques, relax with a spa treatment, lounge by the pool, or visit the shore excursions desk. Your ship features lovely dining rooms that offer traditional set times for dining or anytime dining plus, choose from more casual fare at the Pizzeria, Burger & Hot Dog Grill, or Horizon Court Buffet. After dinner the fun continues with shows in the Princess Theatre, Movies Under the Stars outdoor theater, the Gatsby's Casino, plus nightclub-style performances in the Explorers Lounge or dancing at Skywalkers Nightclub.

Cable cars, the golden Gate rising from the fog - welcome to San Francisco, arguably one of the most romantic and cosmopolitan cities in the U.S. San Francisco has it all: colorful history, superb restaurants, sophisticated museums, world-class shopping and more! Choose from optional excursions that will take you all around the city or out into the beautiful countryside! Choose from Sausalito & Muir Woods, Alcatraz, City Drive & Golden Gate Bridge, Sonoma Wine Country & more!

Santa Barbara

Called the American Riviera, Santa Barbara is a place where food, art, history, fashion, wine and sunshine mix to create a delightful and unique experience for the visitor. The "Queen of the Missions," Santa Barbara's Old Mission can be traced back to the 1700's when the mission was built to bring Christianity to the Chumash Indians

San Diego

Known as a place of infinite beauty, affectionate locals and endless sunshine, San Diego has becone one of America's favorite cities. San Diego has a distinct cross-cultural feel, part sun-drenched Mediterranean atmosphere, part south-of-the-border zest, part quintessential California Beach town. The optional shore excursions include an Old Town Trolley Tour, Balboa Park Discovery, San Diego Zoo or Safari Park or Sea World.

Ensenada, Mexico

Ensenada is just 70 miles south of the international border. Visitors are drawn to Ensenada's warm climate, friendly atmosphere and easy access by land, air & sea. Optional tours include opportunities to see the downtown and residential areas of the city, visit the spectacular blowhole of La Bufadora (a natural marine geyser that blasts water 100 feet into the air), see Plaza Civica filled with magnificent statues of Mexico's greatest local heroes, learn about the growing wine industry, or experience a Mexican Folkloric Fiesta featuring music and dancing. Or if you prefer, just stay on board the ship ad enjoy one last day of wonderful service and fun activities. (Please note: Passpott, Passport Card or Birth Certificate required to disembark in Ensenada.)

Los Angeles

Disembark this morning for our return flight to Omaha after a relaxing and fun California Coastal Cruise.

Final Documents: Approximately two weeks prior to departure date, you will receive your final detailed documents. These documents will include departure times, list of hotels, detailed tour itinerary, health forms and luggage tags will be included.


Changes in Tour Price: Tour prices in this publication are effective as of July 1, 2016 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing.


Changes in Itinerary: The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.


Baggage Allowance: Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines asses a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.


Special Needs: Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.


Church and Faith: We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.
