Travel Day

Shuttle to Omaha from Allied cities for overnight.

Day 2

San Francisco

We depart early for flight to San Francisco. San Francisco has it all: colorful history, superb restaurants, sophisticated museums, world-class shopping and more! Our hotel, at Fisherman's Wharf, is the perfect location to enjoy this bustling waterfront area. Just a short distance from our hotel is Pier 39 Marketplace, the Aquarium of the Bay, the Maritime National Historic Park, and lots of great seafood restaurants.

Day 3

City Tour

Enjoy a half-day city tour this morning to get acquainted with the beautiful city of San Francisco. We'll see the Golden Gate Bridge (including a picture stop), Golden Gate Park, Chinatown, Victorian Homes, North Beach, and more! This afternoon and evening are free to enjoy as you wish. Maybe take a ferry to Alcatraz, or take a cable car ride? Your tour director will assist with options.

Day 4

Board the Grand Princess

After a leisurely morning we are transferred to the Grand Princess, our home for the next six nights. Enjoy getting acquainted with your ship! Your ship features lovely dining rooms that offer traditional set times for dining or anytime dining plus, choose from more casual fare at the Pizzeria, the Trident Grill, or Horizon Court Buffet. After dinner the fun continues with shows in the Princess Theater, Movies Under the Stars outdoor theater, a Vegas Style Casino, plus nightclubstyle performances in the Explorers Lounge or dancing at one of the lounges.

Day 5

At Sea

It's your day to enjoy as you wish! You can shop in the boutiques, relax with a spa treatment, lounge by the pool, or visit the sports court or work out center. It is also a great time to make sure you are ready for our upcoming ports with a visit to the shore excursions desk. (Each port offers shore tours that vary in length, activity level and price.)

Day 6

Santa Barbara

Called the American Riviera, Santa Barbara is a place where food, art, history, fashion, wine and sunshine mix to create a delightful and unique experience for visitors. The "Queen of the Missions," Santa Barbara's Old Mission can be traced back to the 1700's when the mission was built to bring Christianity to the Chumash Indians. Or maybe you'd prefer to see Solvang and do some wine tasting? Or enjoy a Coastal Whale Watching cruise as this is high season to see Gray Whales migrating to Alaska. (Note: Tender Required, Wheelchair Access Limited.)

Day 7

Los Angeles (Long Beach)

This gateway to sunny Southern California has lots of options to enjoy. Marvel at the glitz of Hollywood with a drive along famed Sunset Strip. Or explore vibrant Olvera Street, the 250-year-old birthplace of Los Angeles. How about a trip to Beverly Hills and the Getty Center? A Harbor Cruise of Long Beach will feature the world famous Queen Mary, the Russian Spy Submarine-The Black Scorpion plus see California Sea Lions in their natural habitat.

San Diego

San Diego offers much to see and do! Hop on the trolley for a tour of the city and/or visits to Seaport Village, Balboa Park, Coronado Island, and more! Sea World & the San Diego Zoo are other popular ways to spend a day.

Day 9

|Ensenada, Mexico

Ensenada is just 70 miles south of the international border. Optional tours include a visit to the spectacular blowhole of La Bufadora (a natural marine geyser that blasts water 100 feet into the air), see Plaza Civica filled with magnificent statues of Mexico's greatest local heroes, learn about the growing wine industry, or experience a Mexican Folkloric Fiesta featuring music and dancing. Or if you prefer, stay on board the ship and enjoy one last day of wonderful service and fun activities.

Final Documents: Approximately two weeks prior to departure date, you will receive your final detailed documents. These documents will include departure times, list of hotels, detailed tour itinerary, health forms and luggage tags will be included.

 

Changes in Tour Price: Tour prices in this publication are effective as of July 1, 2017 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing.

 

Changes in Itinerary: The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.

 

Baggage Allowance: Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 pounds. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines asses a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.

 

Special Needs: Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.

 

Church and Faith: We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.
