Our group will also visit the Plymouth County Historical Museum. See over 400 Christmas nativities in a display known as "The Museum Manger." Many of the nativities are brought each year by area residents who wish to share their items. Some nativities have been donated and others have been part of the museum's collection for years.
Donors and lenders have shared information on their nativities as well, stating where the nativity was purchased or come from, or has a special meaning for the family. Several are hand painted by the owners and donors. Visitors also have access to all five floors of this historical old school building which is filled with interesting displays. Handicapped-accessible.
Following the Christmas show, a stop will be made at Wells Blue Bunny Ice Cream for an ice cream treat.
