Halifax Guided Tour/Citadel Nat'l Historic Site

A guided tour of Halifax reveals many historic buildings, parks, and of course, the second largest natural harbor in the world. See the Citadel National Historic Site, a fortress with its impressive ramparts and fortifications dominating the skyline. We travel to Cape Breton Island via the Canso Causeway which joins the island to the main section of Nova Scotia.

Alexander Graham Bell Museum/Cabot Trail/Cape Breton Island

Discover the impressive Alexander Graham Bell Museum and his many contributions to science. Explore the Cabot Trail, a coastal highway described as one of the most spectacular drives in North America. The Cabot Trail winds through Cape Breton Highlands National Park, a wilderness area home to a variety of wildlife, and culture.

Prince Edward Island/Anne of Green Gables Home

On to Prince Edward Island and Charlottetown via a ferry. The many shades of green along with the blue sky and sea and red rich soil, make Prince Edward Island a photographer's dream. Stop for a tour of Charlottetown, and then visit the home of Anne of Green Gables.

Confederation Bridge/Hopewell Rocks

After crossing the Confederation Bridge to Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick, continue to Hopewell Rocks where a guide will explain the phenomenon of the Fundy tides, which have gouged four-story flower pot type sculptures out of the cliffs.

Final Documents: Approximately two weeks prior to your departure date, you will receive your final documents. Departure times, a hotel list, detailed tour itinerary, medical form and luggage tags will be included.


Changes in Tour Price Tour prices in this publication are effective as of September 15, 2018 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing.


Changes in Itinerary The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.


Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.


Church and Faith We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.


Special Needs

Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.
