Come with Allied Tour and Travel and follow the Huskers as they take on an old rival – the Colorado Buffaloes. The last time these two teams met on the gridiron was 2010! Boy, how times have changed. You won’t want to miss this trip with Frost and Company as we visit Folsom Stadium in 2019. Go Huskers!
TRAVEL DAY/16TH STREET MALL
Board your “Husker” coach for a trip west to Colorado. This evening spend some time on your own at the 16th Street Mall. Built in 1982, the Mall is a pedestrian promenade of red-and-gray granite that runs through the center in a repeating pattern that resembles a diamondback rattle snake when viewed from above. There are many outdoor cafés along the mall, making it the perfect place to grab a bite to eat or have a drink. Free shuttle buses, dubbed the MallRide, travel up and down the 16th Street Mall, stopping on every corner. Hop on and hop off as the shuttles come and go every few minutes and make everything downtown easy to reach. After your time spent exploring and dining, check into your hotel in Westminster that you will call home for three nights.

ESTES PARK/BRONCO STADIUM TOUR
Today, travel to Estes Park - The Base Camp for Rocky Mountain National Park. There is no limit to the things you can do here today. For those who want to hike, we will take you up to Bear Lake to do some hiking. The shopping opportunities are outstanding – with more than 300 shops displaying everything your heart desires. To relax, you could spend time wandering down the Riverwalk. The Big Thompson River and Fall River wind through the heart of downtown. The Riverwalk is the perfect way to experience the serenity of the river in beautiful Estes Park. After lunch in the area, make your way to the Broncos Stadium where you will have a private “behind the scenes” glimpse into areas rarely seen by the public, and some of the unique operations and inner workings of one of the most state-of-the-art stadiums in North America. Then, return to your hotel after a fun day of touring. This evening we’ll make the short trip to the Westminster Promenade where you will be able to spend an evening on your own for dinner and entertainment.
GAME DAY! (Includes a PRE-GAME EVENT OR MEAL)
Today is game day, however, we do not know if we will play during the day or under the lights. In any event, sightseeing may be squeezed in (if possible). Join in the festivities of a pre-game event (pending availability). Then take your seat at Folsom Field and watch a long-awaited rematch of our former rival. GO BIG RED!
It’s time to head home after a fun fall trip to Colorado to see the Huskers take on the Buffaloes. Join Allied Tours again for another Husker road trip!

GAME TICKETS & POLICY: FOOTBALL TICKETS - Tickets are ordered from the University of Nebraska and are requested in the Nebraska section. In the event Nebraska does not fulfill our request, tickets are obtained from the home team or ticket agencies and could be located in any part of the stadium, including upper end zones. Tickets will be in pairs or possibly small groups of four, but the entire group will not be sitting in one block of seats. If you secured your own tickets a deduction will be made to your trip cost. (Notification must be made to Allied Tour and Travel by July 3, 2019). Game ticket rates are subject to change until purchased. If rates were to increase to over what is included in the cost of the tour a small surcharge may be assessed.
BASEBALL TICKETS & POLICY - Game ticket prices are subject to change until purchased by Allied. If rates were to increase over what has been budgeted in the cost of the tour, a small surcharge would be assessed. In the event of extra-inning games or game delays, we will stay as long as possible at the game. However, federal law requires motorcoach drivers to have 9 hours off after a days work. This may require the motorcoach to leave the game before its completion to fulfill this law. In this event, passengers can return to the hotel with the motorcoach or stay at the game and take a taxi at your own expense to the hotel.
Travel Insurance is highly recommended. Please ask your reservationist for pricing and details.
Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect your deposits from cancellation fees. Your trip investment is worth protecting and it's the best way to safeguard against unexpected events that can prevent you from traveling and being assessed significant cancellation fees. Contact Allied Tours for travel insurance information.
Final Documents Approximately two weeks prior to your departure date, you will receive your final documents. Departure times, a hotel list, detailed tour itinerary, medical form and luggage tags will be included.
Changes in Tour Price Tour prices in this publication are effective as of January 1, 2019 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing.
Changes in Itinerary The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.
Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.
Church and Faith We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.
Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group.
