ZION NATIONAL PARK

This morning visit Utah’s first national park – Zion National Park. Take a tram tour through the park and learn about the rich history of the past along with the unique array of plants and animals that will enchant you.

VALLEY OF FIRE/STAY ON THE LAS VEGAS STRIP/EVENING AT LEISURE

It’s Las Vegas or bust! This morning arrive at the Valley of Fire, world-renowned for its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled in gray and tan limestone. The Valley of Fire State Park contains ancient petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this beautiful park. Then, head to the city of neon lights – Las Vegas. After checking in, you’ll have the afternoon and evening free to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the Las Vegas strip as your hotel is centrally located smack dab in the middle of the strip. You’ll have a Deuce bus pass to take you anywhere you’d like to go along the strip.

CITY TOUR WITH A LOCAL GUIDE/MOB MUSEUM/OLD LAS VEGAS – FREMONT STREET/ AFTERNOON AND EVENING AT LEISURE

This morning see what’s new on the Las Vegas Strip with your local guide. View the conservatory at the Bellagio, have your photo taken at the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign, and as you travel along the famous strip, learn about the infamous residents in the early days. Visit the Mob Museum where the secrets of the early years of Las Vegas are revealed. Take time to have lunch before heading back to your hotel for an afternoon and evening of leisure. You’ll have a bus pass to take you anywhere you want to go down the strip.

Day 6

HOOVER DAM/ETHEL M CHOCOLATE FACTORY & BOTANICAL GARDEN/LEISURE TIME/ EVENING LIGHTS TOUR/HIGH ROLLER OBSERVATION WHEEL

This morning travel to Hoover Dam which was constructed in the mid-1930s. Walk along the rim of the dam and view Lake Mead to the north and the Colorado River Black Canyon to the south. In addition, take a tour of the massive structure that provides electricity to more than 8 million people. On your way back to Las Vegas, stop at the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Garden for a special sweet treat. Return to your hotel and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

This evening get ready for your farewell to Las Vegas when you see some of the famous old neon signs at the Neon Museum. Also, visit the lights of Fremont Street, the Las Vegas Strip, and the Fountains of Bellagio. Take a ride on the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel. Soaring 550 feet above the center of the Las Vegas strip, it’s the world’s tallest observation wheel with a sweeping 360-degree view of Las Vegas Valley and the Strip.

LEAVE LAS VEGAS/GRAND CANYON WEST SKYWALK

Bid Las Vegas a fond farewell. But don’t worry; we’ve got more in store for you today. Cross the Colorado River and enter Arizona – home to the Grand Canyon. Enter the Hualapai Indian Reservation, home to the Skywalk. Walk on the glass bridge looking down into the canyon, see the Eagle Rock formation, and ride the shuttle to view points along the rim.

ACOMA PUEBLO

Take the morning to sit back, relax and visit with your fellow travel mates about the fun sights in Las Vegas and your incredible experience at the Grand Canyon. An authentic Native American cultural experience awaits when you visit Acoma Pueblo, otherwise known as Sky City. The Acoma Pueblo is the oldest continuously-inhabited Native American settlement in North America.

U.S. OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER

As you make your way to Denver, stop at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. The training center provides housing, dining, and training facilities for the more than 500 athletes and coaches that train there at any one time. Explore the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and take time to browse the U.S. Olympic Store for souvenirs.

TRAVEL HOME

It’s time to head home after an exciting trip to Las Vegas, Canyon Country and the Southwest.

When you select the tour of your choice:

2. If space is available, the appropriate tour deposit is required within seven (7) days after making your reservation. Please see below for deposit amounts. You will be sent a confirmation of your deposit once your payment is received.

Final Documents Approximately two weeks prior to your departure date, you will receive your final documents. Departure times, a hotel list, detailed tour itinerary, medical form and luggage tags will be included.

Changes in Itinerary The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.

Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.

Inspiration and Faith Due to tour schedules, we are unable to make any special provisions for worship services. Many tour directors share a "Thought for the Day," verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.

Traveler Conduct & Special Needs Tours are fun, but the enjoyment of the tour is based on everyone being friendly and cooperative. Allied reserves the right to accept or decline any passenger on any tour if Allied Tour determines a passenger would be detrimental to the tour. Once a tour departs, any passenger disruptive to the group may be required to leave the tour. Expenses to return home would be the responsibility of the passenger. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the tour.

 

Please notify us of any special needs at the time of reservation. We will make all reasonable efforts to assist with your travel arrangements. However, it is strongly recommended that a traveling companion come along to help with any special needs of anyone with a disability. Allied’s tour directors have responsibilities for the entire group and can’t provide one-on-one care. This includes boarding of motor coaches, airplanes, cruise ships, etc. and traversing hotels, restaurants, attractions, or other personal needs, etc. Contact Allied if you have any questions.

Single Travelers Single travelers are guaranteed one seat on the motor coach and may be seated next to another traveler if the tour is full.

AT or property owners are not liable for any loss/damage to vehicles parked at departure locations. All baggage is at owner’s risk. The purchase of baggage and travel insurance covering cancellation, interruption, medical, baggage, etc., is recommended. The issuance and acceptance of tickets/vouchers or the payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment for reservations on these trips shall be deemed to be consent to these conditions. No refund or unused portions of the tour can be made unless agreed to prior to the departure of the tour. The usual contract in use by the airlines and other transportation companies when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the purchaser of the tour and/or the passenger. The services of any ARC and/or IATAN carrier may be used on this program. You assume full responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). Passengers hereby release AT from all claims arising out of any problem covered in these paragraphs and agree that the courts in Madison Co., NE will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or AT.
