KICKOFF TO THE WEST- OVERNIGHT IN DENVER

Pack your red, grab your spirit gear, and get ready for an unforgettable desert adventure as we follow the Cornhuskers to Las Vegas for their big bowl appearance! This spirited getaway blends the excitement of college football with the bright lights and world-class entertainment of America’s playground. Arrive in Denver, the vibrant Mile High City, and settle in for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2

GREEN RIVER UTAH

After breakfast, we continue our westward journey, traveling through the dramatic landscapes of the Rockies and into the red rock country of western Colorado. Today’s highlight is a visit to the Colorado National Monument, where towering monoliths, winding canyons, and sweeping overlooks showcase some of the most breathtaking scenery along our route. Enjoy time to take in the vistas and capture memorable photos before we continue into Utah.

Later, we arrive in Green River for our overnight stay—an oasis along the San Rafael Swell and a welcome rest stop on our way to the excitement of Las Vegas.

Day 3

GREEN RIVER TO LAS VEGAS: WINTER WONDERS OF ZION

This morning, we continue our Southwest adventure as we travel from Green River into the stunning landscapes of southern Utah. Our featured stop today is Zion National Park, where winter brings a special kind of magic—crisp air, peaceful trails, and dramatic canyon walls dusted with seasonal color. Enjoy time to admire the towering cliffs, serene valley views, and the quiet beauty that winter brings to this iconic national park.

After our scenic visit, we make the final leg of our journey to Las Vegas, arriving at the vibrant Rio Hotel & Casino, our home for the next nights. Settle in, explore the resort, or catch your first glimpse of the glowing Strip. Tomorrow, the excitement builds as bowl festivities begin!

Day 4

GAME DAY & NEW YEAR’S EVE IN VEGAS (B)

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Las Vegas with free time to relax, explore the Strip, or enjoy the amenities at the Rio. Then the excitement builds as we head to Allegiant Stadium for the afternoon bowl game kickoff—join fellow fans as we cheer on the Cornhuskers in this incredible, state-of-the-art venue.

After the game, we return to the hotel in time to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. Take part in the Rio’s festivities or venture out to experience the legendary Las Vegas New Year’s atmosphere, where dazzling lights, music, and celebration fill the night.

Day 5

LAS VEGAS TO BEAVER / UTAH: DIN0SAUR DISCOVERIES

After breakfast, we leave the excitement of Las Vegas behind and begin our journey home. Today’s adventure includes a stop in St. George, Utah, where we explore a fascinating dinosaur site, giving fans of all ages a chance to see prehistoric giants up close and learn about the region’s ancient past.

Later, we continue north and settle in for our overnight stay in Beaver, Utah, a restful stop along our route. Share stories from the trip, reminisce about the game, and recharge for the final leg of our journey tomorrow.

Day 6

HOMEWARD BOUND VIA GRAND JUNCTION AND DENVER

Today we continue our journey home, traveling through the scenic landscapes of western Colorado. We stop in Grand Junction for lunch on your own, giving you the chance to explore local eateries or grab a bite before hitting the road again.

Later, we arrive in Denver for an enchanting evening at the Denver Botanic Gardens’ Trail of Lights. Stroll among dazzling holiday light displays and festive decorations, making this a magical way to end the day. Afterward, check into your hotel in Denver for a well-deserved overnight stay.

Day 7

HOMEWARD BOUND

On our final day, we complete the journey home, carrying with us memories of cheering on the Cornhuskers, exploring stunning national parks, and experiencing the excitement of Las Vegas and New Year’s celebrations. Relax on the road, share highlights from the trip, and enjoy the satisfaction of a journey well-traveled as we return to our hometowns.

ACTIVITY LEVEL 

Level 3:  Moderate Activity

Days may be somewhat longer.  There will be walking at the hotel facility in Las Vegas and if you choose to go out on the Las Veags Strip.  Expect some extended standing, varied walking paces, and occasional uneven surfaces. Stairs and moderate inclines are possible, but the pace remains manageable for most travelers. Stadium for football game will require walking and steps. 

  

FOOTBALL TICKET POLICY: 

Football tickets are ordered from the University of Nebraska and are requested in the Nebraska section.  If Nebraska does not fulfill our request, tickets are obtained from the home team or ticket agencies and could be located in any part of the stadium, including upper-end zones.  Tickets will be in pairs or possibly small groups of four, but the entire group will not be sitting in one block of seats.  If you secure your own tickets, a deduction of $150 will be made to your trip cost.  Notification must be made to Allied Tour AT TIME OF BOOKING.  Game ticket rates are subject to change until purchased. If rates were to increase to over what is included in the cost of the tour, a small surcharge might be assessed.  A smart phone with access to email on the phone is required for a digital game ticket.  

  

TOUR INCLUSIONS: 

Motorcoach transportation, airfare, cruises, and rail transportation as stated in the itinerary, hotel accommodations, all admissions and meals per itinerary, all taxes for included items, gratuities for step-on guides and wait staff (for included meals), luggage handling at hotels when available, and services of a professional tour director (see cruises and International tours for tour director minimums). 

Not included on the motorcoach, cruises, rail, fly-in, and International tours are meals not listed in the itinerary, optional tours, travel insurance, room incidentals, alcoholic beverages, luggage fees assessed by airlines, items of personal nature, gratuities for tour director, driver, rail or cruise staff, required documentation for air tours, tours entering Canada/International travel, government fees, passport & VISA fees, airport departure taxes, any vaccination fees/requirements, and other miscellaneous fees.

FINAL DOCUMENTS 

Travel documents will be sent approximately two weeks before departure, provided full payment has been received. The documents will include a detailed itinerary, departure times and locations, hotel lists, medical forms, luggage tags, and other helpful information. 

 

CHANGES IN TOUR PRICE 

Tour prices in this publication are effective as of December 7, 2025, and are subject to fluctuation due to the U.S. dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency, fuel price fluctuations, taxes, typographical errors, or other reasons, etc. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tours utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing. Submitting your deposit is an acknowledgment of your agreement to these terms. 

 

CHANGES IN ITINERARY 

The order of events and hotels scheduled on your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution. 

 

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE 

Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motorcoach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30” x 21” x 11” and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in. *Baggage handling included at hotels where available 

 

INSPIRATION & FAITH 

Due to tour schedules, we are unable to make any special provisions for worship services. Many tour directors share a “Thought for the Day,” verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day. 

 

SPECIAL NEEDS 

Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group.
