Begin your morning with a visit to the Walmart Museum Heritage Lab. Explore the history of Sam Walton, his store, & see new technologies being developed. Enjoy the afternoon touring the Crystal Bridges Museum of Art. A world-class collection of American art, stunning architecture, and 120 acres of Ozark forest with trails. This afternoon, visit the Daisy Airgun Museum, featuring vintage products and artifacts of the Daisy company. Learn the history of Rogers, AR, at the Rogers Historical Museum.

TURPENTINE CREEK WILDLIFE REFUGE TRAM TOUR / THORNCROWN CHAPEL / EUREKA SPRINGS TRAM TOUR

Today we will travel to Eureka Springs. Enjoy a narrated tram tour of the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, a non-profit organization that provides refuge for nearly 100 animals, including tigers. Visit Thorncrown Chapel, the magnificent wood structure that contains 425 windows and over 6,000 sq. feet of glass. See a different side of Eureka from an open-air tram. You’ll see dozens of beautiful old homes, springs, and historic buildings. The guide will narrate the history, share fun stories, and a few childhood memories.

Day 4

ARKANSAS EXCURSION TRAIN / MT. MAGAZINE INTERPRETATIVE PROGRAM/LODGE AT MT. MAGAZINE--BALCONY VIEW

All aboard! Travel through the scenic Ozarks, from Springdale to Van Buren, on the Arkansas & Missouri Excursion Train. Enjoy a pastry and fruit as you take in all the beautiful fall colors. This afternoon travel to the top of Mt. Magazine. We’ll make a stop at the Visitors Center, and a Park Ranger will give a presentation on "Magazine Bears" and other points of interest. Following the program, we will make our way to Mt. Magazine Lodge, where every room features breathtaking views of the Petit Jean River Valley and distant Blue Mountain Lake.

DOGWOOD CANYON NATURE TRAM TOUR / BASS PRO SHOP

This morning, we will continue our fall foliage journey to Dogwood Canyon Nature Park in Lampe, MO. Featuring 10,000 acres of natural beauty and scenery. Step aboard an open-air tram and explore the beauty of Dogwood Canyon. This adventure includes a narrated tour of the park as you pass by bluffs, waterfalls, and other scenic views. Enjoy a chuckwagon meal served at the Creekside Pavilion, surrounded by creeks and streams. Travel to Springfield, MO, and visit the original, and largest of the Bass Pro Shops. 500,000 square feet dedicated to the beauty of the outdoors!

Activity Level 3:  This tour includes average physical activity. There may be long and short days.  You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances (several blocks). Travelers should have the energy level to withstand the timing of the itinerary.  

   

TOUR INCLUSIONS:  

Motorcoach transportation, airfare, cruises, and rail transportation as stated in the itinerary, hotel accommodations, all admissions and meals per itinerary, all taxes for included items, gratuities for step-on guides and wait staff (for included meals), luggage handling at hotels when available, and services of a professional tour director (see cruises and International tours for tour director minimums).  

Not included on the motorcoach, cruises, rail, fly-in, and International tours are meals not listed in the itinerary, optional tours, travel insurance, room incidentals, alcoholic beverages, luggage fees assessed by airlines, items of personal nature, gratuities for tour director, driver, rail or cruise staff, required documentation for air tours, tours entering Canada/International travel, government fees, passport & VISA fees, airport departure taxes, any vaccination fees/requirements, and other miscellaneous fees.

Reserving your place on an Allied tour is as simple as 1-2-3

3. Send your deposit. The deposit is required within seven days of making your reservation. Please see additional information for deposit amounts. You will receive a confirmation of your deposit once your payment is received.  

   

FINAL PAYMENT  

Final payment is due 45-90 days prior to departure, or as stated on your deposit statement.  

You may remit by personal check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.  

   

PROTECTING YOUR TRAVEL  

Your trip investment is worth protecting to safeguard against unexpected events that can prevent you from traveling and being assessed significant cancellation fees. We have two options: the Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) or the Travelex 360 Group Insurance Plan. You can choose one or the other. They are not required for travel, but optional  

   

-CANCELLATION PROTECTION PLAN (CPP) - MOTORCOACH TOURS ONLY  

Cancellation protection is not insurance but a simple plan to protect you from losing   funds if you must cancel for a covered reason. If you cancel for a covered reason, prior to departure, you will be reimbursed for the amount you paid for your trip. This covers cancellation only. No coverages apply after the tour starts.  

   

-TRAVELEX 360 GROUP INSURANCE PLAN  

The 360° Group Choice protection plan is insurance. Enjoy trip cancellation &  interruption benefits, emergency medical coverage, along with 24/7 travel assistance & concierge services.  

   

The enrollment form & payment needs to be completed BEFORE or AT THE TIME of final payment. Customers are NOT allowed to enroll after the final payment has been made. For complete plan information, please contact Allied or your local travel advisor.  

   

FINAL DOCUMENTS  

Travelers now have the option to request digital documents, which will be sent via email 7-10 days earlier than physical the copies. If you opt for digital delivery when booking, you’ll receive a detailed itinerary, departure times and locations, hotel lists, medical forms, and other important information sooner, ensuring you're well-prepared for your trip. Luggage tags will be distributed by the Tour Director.  

   

Physical documents will be sent approximately two weeks before departure, provided full payment has been received.

CHANGES IN TOUR PRICE  

Tour prices in this publication are effective as of August 1, 2024, and are subject to fluctuation due to the U.S. dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency, fuel price fluctuations, taxes, typographical errors, or other reasons, etc. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tours utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing. Submitting your deposit is an acknowledgment of your agreement to these terms.  

   

CHANGES IN ITINERARY  

The order of events and hotels scheduled on your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.  

   

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE  

Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motorcoach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30” x 21” x 11” and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in. *Baggage handling included at hotels when available  

   

INSPIRATION & FAITH  

Due to tour schedules, we are unable to make any special provisions for worship services. Many tour directors share a “Thought for the Day,” verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.  

   

SPECIAL NEEDS  

Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.  

   

CANCELLATION POLICIES - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY  

   

All cancellation fees are based on ‘per person.’ Policies below show ‘Days Prior to Departure’ and ‘Amount of Cancel Fee.’

Single Travelers Single travelers are guaranteed one seat on the motorcoach and may be seated next to another traveler if the tour is full.  

   

Traveler Conduct & Special Needs Tours are fun, but the enjoyment of the tour is based on everyone being friendly and cooperative. Allied reserves the right to accept or decline any passenger on any tour if Allied Tour determines a passenger would be detrimental to the tour. Once a tour departs, any passenger disruptive to the group may be required to leave the tour. Expenses to return home would be the responsibility of the passenger. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the tour. Passengers will be required to abide by local mandates to participate in activities, meals, etc.  

   

Please notify us of any special needs at the time of reservation. We will make all reasonable efforts to assist with your travel arrangements. However, it is strongly recommended that a traveling companion come along to help with any special needs of anyone with a disability. Allied Tour Directors have responsibilities for the entire group and can’t provide one-on-one care. This includes boarding of motor coaches, airplanes, cruise ships, etc. and traversing hotels, restaurants, attractions, or other personal needs, etc. Contact Allied if you have any questions.  

   

TRAVELER RESPONSIBILITIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS  

Allied Tours, Inc. (AT) acts only as an agent for suppliers. AT is not responsible for acts or omissions of the suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their schedules & assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity, & can accept no liability for losses or personal injury or property damage, or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the bus or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, terrorism, or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger. The right is reserved to accept or withdraw any tour if circumstances require it. AT reserves the right to make any changes for the benefit of the tour and/or tour members, including canceling the tour if necessary. All rates are subject to change & are based on current tariffs available & current exchange rates as of October 1, 2024. AT or property owners are not liable for any loss/damage to vehicles parked at departure locations. All baggage is at the owner’s risk. The purchase of baggage & travel insurance covering cancellation, interruption, medical, baggage, etc., is recommended. The issuance and acceptance of tickets/vouchers or the payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment for reservations on these trips shall be deemed to be consent to these conditions. No refund or unused portions of the tour can be made unless agreed to prior to the departure of the tour. The usual contract in use by the airlines and other transportation companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the purchaser of the tour and/or the passenger. The services of any ARC and/or IATAN carrier may be used on this program. AT has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the suppliers or unsafe conditions or climate of locations to which you may travel. You assume full responsibility for checking & verifying any & all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s) & all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). Passengers hereby release AT from all claims arising out of any problem covered in these paragraphs & agree that the courts In Madison Co., NE will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or AT. Travelers may be photographed for the promotional purposes of AT.
