Thermopolis Hot Springs State Park/Cody Western Dinner/Show

Your drive through Wyoming brings you to the Thermopolis Hot Springs State Park where an interpreter tells about the hot springs and their history. Your destination today is Cody, Wyoming, named after Buffalo Bill Cody. Tonight you are treated to a Western dinner and show.

Day 3

Buffalo Bill Historical Center/Old Faithful Geyser

Visit the Buffalo Bill Historical Center with five museums in one - depicting the life of Buffalo Bill Cody, Western Firearms, Western Art, the Plains Indian and more. After lunch, travel to the world's first national park - Yellowstone National Park. Old Faithful Geyser is the most known of all the geysers.

Yellowstone National Park

Today you will want to take along your camera and binoculars and walking shoes as you are off to visit several sites in Yellowstone National Park. Among the beautiful attractions you will be stopping to view and take pictures are Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Falls, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and others as time allows.

Headwaters of the Missouri State Park

Within the Missouri Headwaters State Park National Historic Landmark, the Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin rivers merge to form the 2,300 mile Missouri River. Visit the location where the legendary Lewis and Clark Expedition found the headwaters of the great river they traveled.

Glacier National Park/"Going-to-the-Sun Road"

One of the most memorable highlights in Glacier National Park is a drive on the "Going-to-the-Sun Road". Learn all the facts of this amazing road as you are amazed on this "backbone of America."

Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Int. Center/First People's Buffalo Jump (B)

This morning visit the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center in Great Falls. See one of the largest buffalo jump sites in the country at First People's Buffalo Jump State Park.

Our Lady of the Rockies

Our Lady of the Rockies stands 90 feet atop the continental divide, at an elevation of 8,510 feet, overlooking the city of Butte. Travel to the top of the continental divide to view this marvelous sculpture up close.

Travel Day/Terry Bison Ranch

Travel through the rolling high country of Montana and Wyoming towards Cheyenne. Enjoy a barbecue dinner at the Terry Bison Ranch.

Cheyenne Frontier Days & PRCA Rodeo/ Cheyenne Trolley Tour

Cheyenne's Frontier Days is known worldwide for its largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration. Enjoy a day of fun at the Frontier Days PRCA Rodeo and free time on the grounds. Discover Cheyenne during a city trolley tour. Evening option: Frontier Days Concert (entertainer TBA, additional cost). Please make your preference of option when booking your tour.

Changes in Itinerary The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.

 

Changes in Tour Price Tour prices in this publication are effective as of September 15, 2017 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing.

 

Baggage Allowance Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility. Most airlines assess a baggage fee. This fee is not included in the tour price and is paid for at airport check-in.

 

Special Needs Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group.
