Arches National Park/"Un-Wined and Dine" River Cruise

We journey through Colorado's Rocky Mountains today. We visit Arches National Park with an expert step-on guide. Tonight we will be treated to a dinner and then "Un-wined and Dine" cruise and entertainment.

Capitol Reef National Park/Bryce Canyon National Park

En route to Bryce Canyon, we drive through Capitol Reef National Park. Catch the sunset over Bryce Canyon, bringing out all the reds, pinks and rusts on the stunning rock formations of the canyon.

Day 4

Zion National Park/Glen Canyon Dam

The incredible scenery continues during a Zion National Park tram ride. Then it's on to the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area to catch a glimpse of the Glen Canyon Dam, one of the highest dams in the United States.

Lake Powell Cruise/Grand Canyon National Park

A cruise on Lake Powell will delight us as we travel into scenic Antelope Canyon with its dramat steep red sandstone walls. We're off to the magnificent Grand Canyon, where we'll enjoy one of nature's greatest works of art. You will have free time to explore the Grand Canyon area,

Monument Valley/Navajo Cookout

On our way to Colorado today, we travel through the Navajo and the Ute Indian Reservations to Monument Valley for a close-up view in an open-air jeep with a knowledgeable local guide learning about the famous monoliths rising from the earth. Enjoy a Navajo cookout!

Silverton Durango Train/Million Dollar Highway/Box Canyon Falls

Behold the spectacular mountain scenery of the San Juan National Forest between Durango and Silverton aboard the Silverton/Durango train. The Million Dollar Highway takes us to the "Switzerland of America," Ouray, CO.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Monument/Royal Gorge Bridge

More wondrous scenery unfolds at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Monument. From the Royal Gorge Bridge, we'll gaze at the river meandering through the canyon far below.

Day 9

Manitou Cliff Dwellings/Seven Falls Options/Garden of the Gods

You have three options to choose from today. #1 Seven Falls, OR #2 Visit the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, home of the ancient Anasazi people OR #3 Pikes Peak. Please book one of these two options when you make your reservation. Join our step-on guide in the Garden of the Gods where you'll see towering red sandstone formations that created this unique and picturesque park.

Final Documents:  Approximately two weeks prior to your departure date, you will receive your final documents. Departure times, a hotel list, detailed tour itinerary, medical form and luggage tags will be included.  

 

Changes in Tour Price: Tour prices in this publication are effective as of April 15, 2017 and subject to fluctuation due to the U.S dollar exchange rates and energy rates. Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing. 

 

Changes in Itinerary: The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.

 

Baggage Allowance: Portage for one suitcase (per person) is included in the tour price. Due to limited motor coach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30" x 21" x 11" and weigh no more than 50 lbs. Small carry-on bags are allowed and are your responsibility.

 

Church and Faith: We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.

 

Special Needs: Travelers needing special assistance must notify Allied Tours at the time of booking. Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group. See your current tour book for details of customer responsibility.
