Sternwheeler Riverboat Cruise/Gold Dredge #8
A cruise on an authentic Sternwheeler Riverboat takes us along the Chena River where we learn about sled dog racing, salmon fishing and various native customs at a recreated Athabascan Village. You'll also enjoy a tour to Gold Dredge 8 where you can try panning for gold. Enjoy a free evening.
Fairbanks/Denali National Park
Travel by motor coach takes you on a scenic journey to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Once there, check out the deck and vistas of the Nenana River Canyon. Optional tours such as the Denali Dinner Theatre, Helicopter Tours, ATV Excursion, Whitewater Rafting and more will be available this evening. (Optional tours at an additional cost.)
Overnight (2) Denali, AK.
You have a full day to get out into one of America's best national parks. This morning, a Natural History Tour serves as a wonderful introduction to the animals, plants and geological features found in Denali. Or you may want to upgrade to a more extensive Tundra Wilderness Tour into the park. Optional excursions are available later today (for additional cost).
This morning, board the Princess Rail for a day long journey to the port of Whittier. A last hopeful view of "the mountain", dense green forests, the Chugach Range and scenic valleys fill the landscape along the way. Onboard rail guides provide expert commentary and point out attractions along the way. We board the Island Princess.
Overnight (7) Island Princess
Hubbard Glacier Scenic Cruising
Enjoy the day exploring the ship and and enjoying the scenery along the face of Alaska's largest tidewater glacier, Hubbard Glacier. A Princess specialty is their "North to Alaska" Program which features everything Alaska - right on board. Test Alaska's seafood, hear its stories, learn about its culture and meet its fascinating people with this exciting new program. Each evening the Island Princess offers great entertainment!
Glacier Bay Scenic Cruising
Cruise the ice-studded fjords of Glacier Bay National Park as a U.S. Park Service Ranger narrates throughout the day. It's a great day to be out and about on deck as you watch and listen for the infamous "white thunder" of the glaciers calving.
Colorful Skagway is a window into Alaska's Gold Rush history. From Skagway, fortune seekers could find the shortest route to the Klondike, but it wasn't the easiest. The White Pass Railroad takes you to the summit at nearly 3,000 feet. Enjoy a dog sledding excursion, visit the famous Red Onion Saloon in downtown, or enjoy an outdoor adventure. (Shore excursions in each port are available at an additional cost.)
The state's capital city offers much to be discovered. Options include an excursion to Mendenhall Glacier, Salmon Fishing, or for those wanting more activity you can take a biking, hiking, canoeing or kayaking tour.
Ketchikan is located in a rain forest! The lush green is all around. Tour options include visits to Misty Fjords National Monument, the Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary, or a whale-watching cruise, just to name a few. (Wheelchair access limited.)
Inside Passage Scenic Cruising
It's our last day of scenic cruising and one last day to enjoy the pampering and service of our Princess staff.

Our best effort has been made to publish this information as accurately as possible. The right is reserved to change tour rates as deemed necessary by current currency and fuel price conditions. Due to the volatility of airfares and flight schedules, tour utilizing air transportation are subject to change both in price and routing.
Changes in Itinerary: The order of events and hotels scheduled in your tour are subject to change. Every effort will be made to preserve the original quality of attractions and hotels when circumstances necessitate a substitution.

Church and Faith: We encourage you to attend the church of your choice while on tours if conditions allow. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any special provisions or transportation to attend church. Many tour directors share "Thoughts of the Day" verses of inspiration, or a short prayer to start the day.

Persons requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who can help with these special needs as tour directors and drivers have obligations to the whole group.
