Booking Conditions

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). If you choose the "Pay by Check Savings" option, please mail in your payment within 7 days. Your booking will be held as an option until we have received your payment. A receipt will be mailed to you showing your savings.

 

How can I receive a "Pay by Check Savings" ?

Our "Pay By Check Savings" program is available for most of our tours. Continue with the booking process and an option will allow you to "pay later".  Once your booking is complete, mail in your payment to Allied Tour & Travel, 720 E. Norfolk Ave., Norfolk, NE 68701 and your booking is confirmed. If you choose the "Pay by Check Savings" option, please mail in your payment within 7 Days. Your booking will be held as an option until we have received your payment.  A receipt will be mailed to you showing you "Pay by Check Savings" are shown online under "Detailed Overview" and in our printed tour catalog.

 

How much of a deposit do I need to pay when reserving a trip?

To confirm your reservation, a deposit is required within 7 days after you make your reservation. The deposit amounts are as follows:

 

  • Motor Coach tours -- $100 per person

  • Domestic Air & Rail tours -- $300 per person.

  • Fly-in trips to New York City -- $400 per person

  • Canadian Rockies/Niagara Falls & Toronto -- $100 per person

  • International tours -- $450 per person

  • Hawaii Cruise -- $600 per person

  • Panama Canal/California Coastal/Alaska Cruises -- 20% of the rate

If I cancel, is my deposit and final payment refundable?

Deposits and payment are refundable, provided your cancellation is within the following time frames:

 

Motor Coach Tours (United States/Canada):

 

46 days or more before departure -Full Refund

45-31 days before departure - 30% of tour cost

30-16 days before departure - 50% of tour cost

15 days to day of departure - No Refund

 

Domestic Air Tours:

 

 90 days or more before departure - Full Refund

 89 to 45 days before departure - 40% of tour cost

 44 to 30 days before departure - 75% of tour cost

 29 days or less to departure - No Refund

 

New York Baseball & Broadway:

 

  Date of deposit to 65 days before departure - $300 per person

  64 to 30 days before departure - 50% of tour cost

  29 days or less to departure - No Refund

 

China Discovery:

 

   Date of deposit to 60 days or more before departure - $450 per person

  59 to 30 days before departure - $400 per person fee + any additional land/air fees

  29 to 16 days before departure - $500 per person fee + any additional land/air fees

  15 to 8 days before departure - $1,000 per person fee + any additional land/air fees

  Within 7 days of departure - No Refund

 

Alaska & Panama Canal Cruise Tours:

 

  75 days or more before departure - Full Refund

  74 to 57 days before departure – Deposit Amount

  56 to 29 days before departure - 50% of tour cost

  28 to 15 days before departure - 75% of tour cost

  14 days or less to departure - No Refund

 

Railroading through Mexico's Copper Canyon:

 

  Date of deposit to 61 days prior to departure - $450 per person

  60 to 31 days before departure - 20% of tour cost

  30 to 15 days before departure - 30% of tour cost

  14 to 2 days before departure - 40% of tour cost

  Within 24 hours of departure- No Refund

 

California Zephyr/Grand Canyon by Rail:

 

  95 days or more before departure - Full Refund

  94 to 50 days before departure - 25% of the tour cost

  49 to 21 days before departure - 50% of Tour Cost

  20 days or less to departure - No Refund

 

Hawaii Cruise:

 

  76 days or more before departure - Full Refund

  75 to 56 days before departure - $2,000 per person

  55 to 30 days before departure - 75% of the tour cost

  29 days or less to departure - No Refund

 

Alaska/Panama Canal/California Coastal Cruises:

 

  76 days or more before departure - Full Refund

  75 to 56 days before departure - $1,500 per person

  55 to 30 days before departure - 75% of the cruise fare plus 100% of airfare

  29 days or less to departure - No Refund

 

Note: No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by any passenger after commencement of the cruise. Requests for refunds must be in writing to Norwegian Cruise Lines. Cruise tickets, air tickets, transfer coupons and/or vacation package vouchers must be returned before a refund can be made. Refund processing time is about 3-6 weeks. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Payment and Cancellation Policy is subject to change without notice.

 

All cancellation fees are based on 'per person'. Allied strongly encourages you to purchase travel insurance to cover your cancellation fees. Contact us at (800) 672-1009 for insurance information.

 

When is my final payment due?

Depending on your tour, your final payment date is 45-90 days before departure, or as stated on your receipt - be sure to check this.

 

Can the price change?

Allied will do everything possible to avoid price changes. However, if fuel prices rise, or if taxes or other charges are added beyond our control, these will be added to your final bill.

 

During my trip, what out-of-pocket expenses will I incur?

Not included in your tour are:

 

  • Meals and snacks not listed in the itinerary

  • Optional tours

  • Travel insurance

  • Room incidentals (room service, laundry, phone calls, etc.)

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Checked baggage fees accessed by airlines

  • Items of a personal nature

  • Souvenirs

  • Optional end-of-trip gratuities to your tour director, driver or cruise staff
